My name is Waheeda. I am a work-at-home mom who is passionate about parenting and anything that relates to self-improvement and travel.
One of the reasons I started this blog is to share my passion for positive parenting with other moms like you. I am tired of the conventional parenting methods where children are treated with no respect (they are humans too!). I don’t think becoming a parent means having the right to hurt children physically and emotionally.
There are better ways to raise children, that is by giving all the love to them and guiding them gently to become adults who are capable of adding beauty to the world. When we practice positive parenting, they become positive humans too.
In addition to positive parenting, I love to talk about mom life. The happiness, the frustrations, the challenges and everything under the sun that we face as mothers. That’s why I named this site Messy, Yet Lovely. Even though motherhood is messy, we can choose to see it as lovely by embracing it and living through it by taking one day at a time.
We are stronger than we think!
Over time, I hope to add tools and resources that will help mothers to solve their challenges and make motherhood easier. I hope you will stick with me on this journey.
